Newsraid goes out and about as we talk to various Candidates involved in the forthcoming Local Elections Thursday May 7th 2026 in South London.Newsraid will be at St Georges Hospital at the M&S Cafe! on Saturday April 18th from 1pm Chris Mitchell will be interviewing Labour Cllr for Furzedown and GLA Member Leonie Cooper, Green Candidate for Tooting Bec Ward Lisa Laudet, and Activist Colin Crilly pops into chat about Palestine and Marches in London. Then on Saturday April 25th from 1:30pm Sue Wixley for the Lib Dems in Southfields along with the Tooting Greens! Finally on May 2nd at 1:20pm it will be Reform Candidate for Tooting Ward Stephenie Dearden only on www.raidersfm.com. Raidersbroadcast was sad to learn of the passing of International UK born Actress Joanna Pettet in the USA. She took part in two interviews by Phone with Presenters Chris Mitchell and Hannah Woolley back in 2014 which can be be found on the Podcast page of this website. Her Film credits include Casino Royale as Bond Girl Mari Hari ( Outstanding Performance), Robbery played opposite Actor Stanley Baker, Night of the Generals including Peter ‘O toole,as well as many feature Films in the UK before going to the US to persue many Sitcom parts and Feature Films till the 90s. RIP JO
