Cilla Black: 60s/70s Pop Singer/ TV Presenter

Cilla Black one of most proflic 60/70 singers passes away aged 72.

She who was discovered by The Beatles John Lennon who referred her to Manager Brian Epstein after being recommended by the Beatles.

Recognised by countless generations of fans, the singer was found dead in her sleep in Marbella, Spain after a fall which resulted in a stoke reported.

Cilla also went on to be a successful TV Presenter with the BBC in the 60s and 70s with ‘Cilla’. Then in the mid 80s with dating  popular show ‘Blind Date’ on ITV.

Her first single Love of the loved was written by Paul Mcartney and John Lennon. Her first NO1 Anybody Had a Heart written by Burt Bacharach launched her into stardom. Later she sang the Theme song for the 1966 film Alfie starring Michael Caine

Many people in the Media have paid tribute to this Stylish Singer.

Cilla Black will be missed for her original voice appeal to many female Singers.
