Obituary: Front man/ Bass player Lemmy Dies at 70.

Lemmy the Rocker of all Rockmen dies of Cancer aged 70 yrs. Raiders association with the Great Rocker goes back to the late 80s- early 90s when he used to frequent the famous St Moritz Rock Bar in Wardour St W1. During the 80s Raiders ran a rock night at The Moritz with Manager(now Raiders Programme Controller) Claire Mansfield, Raiders DJs Jan Kooper & John Chapman (now deceased). Lemmy used to play the famous Fruit Machine. At the same time hold conversations with DJ Chris Hunter and many others. A colourful character who gave some people a bit of time and a good conversation on Music and Youth culture. He will be missed by many of the Rock establishment who in some cases he used to rebel against. But as they say Lemmy is now up there in that Big Gig in the Sky.
