RECENT NEWS: REMEMBERING RADIO CONTROLLER AND OWNER OF PIPELINE RADIO TOM MCKENZIE

Tom McKenzie truly was one of a kind.  Afflicted by cancer early in life, he did his best not to let it affect his ambitions.  Pipeline Radio started as a “pipe dream” and turned from a small, local medium wave station serving a small area of East London into an international station carried on some of the biggest transmitters in Europe!  It was also an early adopter of internet broadcasting technology.

Tom worked on many stations from the USA to the Netherlands and you can find him on You Tube working on air in the ‘States and showing a camera crew around Radio Caroline’s ship the “Ross Revenge”.

He’s truly going to be missed by all his friends and family.  Condolences, of course, from all at Raiders.
